The Easter edition of Yudala Mobile Monday, a weekly sales promotion exclusive to the composite online and offline retail giants, witnessed huge surge in demand for products from leading brands such as Infinix Mobility, Innjoo and Apple, among others, as shoppers sought to take advantage of the festive season deals and packages on offer.

Reports indicate that a number of devices enjoyed best seller status on the latest edition of the promotion including the Infinix Zero 3, InnJoo smart watch, Apple IPhone 5S as well as a wide assortment of Lenovo laptops, all of which came bundled with Microsoft Office 365.

Also attracting multiple orders on the day was the newly launched Samsung S7 as well as the Samsung 20 inch LED TV.

The Yudala Mobile Monday, which has gained widespread following from shoppers nationwide, is gradually occupying prime attention as a day on which to enjoy exclusively reduced prices and best deals on a wide range of mobile devices from the biggest brands including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs and accessories, among others.

Feedback received from various Yudala Experience Stores nationwide indicate that shoppers desirous of taking advantage of the exclusive deals on the over 500,000 mobile devices on offer, had begun to besiege the stores from as early as 7am, capitalizing on the work-free Easter Monday holidays.

Powered by Intel and Lenovo, this week’s edition of the promotion saw the HP 280 computer which went on sale at a give-away price of N89,999 enjoy huge demand during the flash sale which went live by 12noon, 3pm and 6pm.

Also featuring among the special attractions for this edition were a variety of bundles with Blackberry and Yezz mobile devices going away at heavily discounted prices. Kids were not left out as the Kids Tablet Touchpad from the Yudala Babies, Kids and Toys category also recorded significant spike in demand, with multiple orders processed online for the device.

Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, founder/vice president, Yudala,  noted that the Mobile Monday promotion has come to stay, going by the increasingly heavy traffic recorded on the website every Monday coupled with the queues often witnessed at the various Experience Stores located nationwide.

“Apart from the fact that orders began pouring in online from the early hours of Monday, we have also detected a growing trend where some customers who place orders online would rather choose to pick up the item at the nearest Yudala Experience Store.

“This was quite noticeable for this Easter edition of Mobile Monday, especially among shoppers who were looking to present these devices as gifts to their loved ones and who would not want to encounter any delays with delivery.     For those who chose the pay-on-delivery option, however, we surprised many of them with same day delivery as part of our Yu-Jara special Easter offer.

“This is one of the additional advantages that comes from shopping with Yudala. Our chain of Experience Stores nationwide offers shoppers that convenience of intervening in the order placement and product delivery life-cycle as they can pick up from any of our stores nearest to them.

“Furthermore, customers can experience the product or device they have placed an order for or which they are yet to decide upon at our Experience Stores. Once they experience the look and feel of the device and see the products in action, the decision-making process quickens and they can immediately close the deal and walk away with the product.”

Launched late last year with considerable panache and marketing blitz, Yudala, a pioneer online and offline retail chain has successfully expanded the nation’s e-commerce and offline retail space with several innovative strategies including the first ever drone delivery in Africa, Neighbour to Neighbour Mega Deals, Gyming with the Stars series, Monthly Mid-Day Madness and Yu-jara – Nigeria’s largest festive Seasons Sales, among others.

Yudala prides itself for genuine products and for being the fastest pay on delivery composite e-commerce company in the country.

By Chike Onwuegbuchi17 Aug 2026

There is a strange thing about regulation: everybody wants clarity until clarity comes with a bill. Given that is probably why the conversation around Nigeria’s proposed 1.5% stamp duty on virtual asset transactions has quickly become a debate about the number. Is 1.5% too much? Will it make crypto more expensive? Will users simply move elsewhere?
