It was an exciting moment for guests at the official unveiling of Innjoo’s latest flagship- Innjoo LeapBook M100 and LeapBook A100, super slim feather light personal computers (PC), selling for less than N100,000.
InnJoo is venturing into producing its first Windows 10 powered laptop computer few weeks after the Chinese Mobile Phones maker announced its first 6GB RAM powered device; the Innjoo Pro 2.
This is following its huge success stories in smartphone, tablets, television and other accessories manufacturing, Innjoo, said Rakesh Rocque, country manager, Innjoo (Nigeria), who also disclosed that the laptops can be charged using 10,000mAh (Milliamp Hour) power bank capacity, car-charger and above.
The 14.1-inch Windows 10 powered computer is a portable sized laptop that can be easily carried about without being noticed.
The InnJoo Leap Book A100 body is made of sleek plastic design and features a 14.1-inch HD non-touch display, with a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The screen is brilliant for watching movies and browsing the web.
It has a dimension measuring 334 x 220 x 18.2mm respectively while weighing just 1550g. The Leap Book A100 is available in two colour variants of Business Silver & Noble Gold.
The laptop PC is equipped with an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 Quad-core CPU, Intel HD Graphics Gen8-LP 10/12EU up to 600MHz and offers a generous 2GB of RAM for smooth computing experiences. To add to these, Leap Book A100 crams in a 32GB SSD. Luckily, the storage is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD cards, and that should be good enough for most users.
Speaking at the launch, Rocque, said, “We are happy that three years after entering the (Nigerian) market we are launching the slimmest and cheapest laptop in this market, even as we are excited to be partnering Technology Distribution with great pedigree in this environment.
“Yes, tablet and phablets are good, but has diminishing points just like smartphone, especially with regards productivity we want Nigerians to do more seamlessly”.

InnJoo Leap Book A100 is coming on Yudala, Konga, Jumia and other leading online retail platforms in Nigeria by first week of March, as pledged Chioma Chimere, MD, Sales and Marketing, Technology, the sole distributors of the product in Nigeria.
she confirmed that InnJoo Leap Book A100 price in Nigeria is expected sell at less than N100,000 depending on the colour and retail store.
Chimere said, “Looking at the laptop, there are three things that come to mind. First, it is stylish and portable- it has the advantages of all those ‘bogus’ ones out there; and TD Plus is ready to support potential customers have value for their money. Secondly, the price is pocket-friendly, in the sense that while dollar-naira issue is there Innjoo still wants Nigerians to get the best at cheaper price.
“Thirdly, this launch signifies a true test of partnership as it goes to shows that in the last three years we have worked with Innjoo in this market they have grown from not only manufacturing smartphones, tablets, television, to now personal computers. We will keep supporting the innovations coming from Innjoo”, the MD, Marketing of TD added.
The Windows 10 powered Innjoo Leap Book A100 comes with a large capacity rechargeable battery of 10,000mAh (Milliamp Hour) that the company claims to last up to last 8 hrs of regular usage when on a full charge, 6.5 hrs of video playback and 300 hrs on standby mode.
The device also has a powerful built-in 8Ω/1W speaker, gives support for USB 2.0 ports sports a single HDMI slot.
