ITRDN Technologies Limited said it is now time to make the move to either Windows 7 or 8, as Windows XP support has come to an end while educating users on the importance of migrating to more secured platforms.

For over a year now, Microsoft had announced it will stop supporting Windows® XP on April 8, 2014.

Mr. Agboola Toheeb, chief technical officer, ITRDN Nigeria Limited, told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek on Tuesday that, "As the world counts down toward this end-of-support deadline, ITRDN Technologies offers our customers a number of ways to complete system upgrade in a timely and well planned manner to help you enjoy a problem free migration.

"As Microsoft partner, we can help you migrate seamlessly all your windows XP based PCs to newer version of windows operating system either Win 7 or 8".

According to him, the migration plan ensures Impact assessment for user's business; risk management to prevent loss of data/IT resource and proper asset and inventory management of software, licenses & titles.

He also hinted on ITRDN offering end user training and familiarization; cost saving migration with best value and approach and little to no disruption in operation and productivity

"Whatever direction you plan to go our goal is to ensure a smooth upgrade and keep your business running," he said.

The CTO added that the migration services covers windows 7 or 8 migration and PC overhaul to get businesses ahead products and service delivery to customers.
