iWay Africa Nigeria Limited, a leading Internet Solution Provider has launched a new website called namywedding.com, a one-stop wedding and community website.
The website is an extensive wedding directory containing wedding advice section and planning tools to enable prospective couples find wedding vendors, keep track of their wedding plans, interact with other couples and find useful information to guide them through the process.
Adewunmi Ogunsanya, chairman iWay Africa said the company decide to build the website after conducting a survey on challenges facing singles planning to get married in order to help eliminate stress in pursuit of their wedding plans, having to combine that with their jobs.
To launch the website, the company organized the 2010 Dream Wedding Splash Competition to give a lucky couple a dream wedding valued at over N4,000,000.
Out of the 141 entries received, the 10 top couples were chosen for the grand finale, out of which eight couples showed up. The couples carried points into the launch event which were added to the points earned at the event.
The competition centered on how well the couples knew each other as well as their prospective in-laws.

Though Adaku and Chuks had the support of the audience as they were able to thrill the crowd with their dynamic dance steps, they lost it in the first round as they knew little of each other in their two-year long relationship.
Oluwatimilehin Adebayo and Temitope Abiola emerged winners of the dream wedding by10 points with Mfon Ubia and Aaron Atat coming close on their heels.
On their announcement as winners as adjudged by the judges, Timilehin and Temitope could not contain their joy as they embraced each other while also calling their folks back home to inform them of their luck.
Timilehin and Temitope’s courtship started seven years ago when Temitope had a bet with a family friend that he could make any girl fall in love with him. Timilehin was set up without her knowing and today, the rest is history.
Other participants went home with N100,000 consolation prizes while winners of the best story and best pictures also went home with N100,000 each.
The wedding date is to be announced soon and iWay Africa has promised to celebrate it in grand style as would a celebrity wedding with the support of its partners.
