Multiple award winning star Iyanya, in conjunction with label mates Tekno, Selebobo, Baci and the multi-talented Mystro, is set to release a much anticipated, universal hit track titled “Yudala” which is expected to dominate the airwaves in view of its global appeal and universal message.

The track, which ushers in a new phase in Nigeria’s socio-political and economic milieu, is being positioned to become a by-word for a multiplicity of universally recognized and acceptable values.

The massive hit, spear-headed by Iyanya, has been in the works for over nine months and features a blend of styles, infusion of local dialects and sonorous acoustics from the multi-talented artistes.

The song has enjoyed widespread endorsement from industry chieftains and lifestyle promoters, with a review of the lyrics revealing that Yudala represents a universal word for respect, peace of mind, best wishes and prosperity.

Speaking on the new studio effort by the Kukere Master, CEO of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), Ubi Franklin, noted that the song encapsulates the prevailing atmosphere of rekindled hope in Nigeria’s re-emergence as an economic and continental force, while capturing the positive aspirations of its forward-thinking people.

“We are not immune to the happenings in the socio-political space and the current transitional status of the Nigerian state. It is against this background that we went to work on this latest effort which is the next big thing in the Nigerian and global music scene.

“Yudala represents a universal appeal. The word Yudala stands for respect, peace of mind, best wishes and prosperity. You won’t be out of place if you get to the office or a business meeting and welcome your colleague or business partner with the word Yudala.

In no time, Yudala will be the first word children will greet their parents with in the morning. That is the spirit behind the Yudala movement.

“The song Yudala is dedicated to a new generation of Nigerians and a global audience of optimists; people who are no longer constrained by the fault lines and shackles of tribe, religion, ethnicity and racism. Yudala is for a people who are positive, for people who crave a better lifestyle, better democracy and a better future,” he enthused.

Already receiving rave reviews from the exclusive auditions of the track, Iyanya and his mates have also been contacted on the possibility of performing this latest studio effort in various African capitals and cities.

Born Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, Iyanya captured the imaginations of an entertainment-crazy populace when he won the 2008 MTN Project Fame West Africa as well as for his subsequent massive effort Kukere.

The soft-spoken artiste is the co-owner of Made Men Music Group, a record label which is home to artistes such as Tekno, Emma Nyra, Selebobo and Baci.

He released his debut studio album My Story in 2011 which was supported by the singles No Time and Love Truly. Desire, his second studio album, contained the singles Kukere, Your Waist, Flavour, Sexy Mama and Jombolo. He also won the artiste of the year award at the 2013 edition of the Headies.
