The Africa Internet Holding yesterday launched its new online hotel booking site “Jovago” in the country, making hotels just one click away for all Nigerians.

Users enter their chosen destination and Jovago offers 140,000 hotels worldwide. Jovago provides all information about hotels, as well as means to compare different options and find the ideal location. In Nigeria the portfolio consists of over 200 hotels.

Customers have the option to choose between paying at the hotel or using the secure online payment option – without any booking fees.

The Africa Internet Holding is committed to launch and run successful internet ventures to accelerate the online shift in Africa.

To date, the hotel-booking market in Nigeria is unsorted. It lacks convenient solutions for booking accommodation – using time-consuming booking agencies and walking up directly to hotels is still commonplace.
