The event tagged ‘Kaymu Entrepreneurship Workshop’ took recently at the prestigious Afe Babalola hall in the University of Lagos.
University campuses overtime have become a business haven with students partaking in one form of business endeavour or the order as a secondary source of income while pursuing their studies.
The workshop attracted representatives from the organization who spoke on various aspects ranging from entrepreneurship to maximizing social media.
Tomiwa Oladele, head of Communications at Kaymu pointed out the importance of harnessing key personal attributes as well as technical proficiency while grooming to be an entrepreneur.
Also, Abiola Fabio, Kaymu’s community manager, further emphasized the need for social media marketing and advised students to leverage on the benefits of Kaymu in order to sell their products.
According to Kaymu MD Evangeline Wiles, Kaymu’s partnership with Cool FM was founded out of the need to drive entrepreneurship amongst youths who lack the basic knowledge on how to compete in the Nigerian market.
