As the world gears up for St. Valentine’s Day, leading online marketplace, Kaymu.com.ng in partnership with Waje Safe House, a foundation established by the award winning musical sensation Waje, is organising a valentine’s day party with kids of the Living Fountain Orphanage.

February 14th is a day known all over the world for the celebration of love.

Kaymu and Waje Safe House seek to redefine the essence of that day by putting smiles on the faces of kids who have no family to spend that special day with.

According to Tomiwa Oladele, public relations manager, Kaymu Nigeria, the ceremony is to put smiles on the faces of the orphans.

Kaymu is leading online shopping community in Nigeria that connects buyers and sellers, but do not have any inventory of its own.

The founders believe that the internet can break economic barriers and change the way business is done.

Therefore, they want to bring e-commerce into the lives of Africans, to empower local entrepreneurs by helping them take their business online and to make shopping easy and accessible to everyone.

On the other hand, African soul singer and songwriter Aituaje Iruobe better known as Waje launched the charity initiative ‘Waje’s Safe House’ in 2012.

Waje’s Safe House is an initiative of the star that is aimed at supporting NGO’s and causes that need help to achieve their goals and targets.

The first project supported under Waje’s Safe House is the MEDIC (Mental and Environmental Development Initiative for Children) initiative called Project HELP (Help Educate the Less Privileged).
