Layer3 Celebrates 16 Years of Delivering Cutting-edge Technology Solutions

Layer3, a leading IT solutions provider, marks sixteen years in business this July. Since commencing operations in 2005, it has served a continuously growing clientele across Africa with a variety of IT solutions, including broadband, network and data infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity.

The company began with two employees and a mission to provide technology solutions that make businesses and individuals excel. Today, Layer3 provides solutions that cut across several sectors and geographies. It continues to broaden its array of products to match the growing and diverse needs of its customers across the continent.

“Our journey through the years has been gratifying, considering the impact we have made and the success, we have helped our numerous customers achieve,” stated Oyaje Idoko, CEO of Layer3. “I thank all Layer3’s, customers and partners for riding with us through this journey.

“None of our achievement would have been possible without our customers, especially. This is why we continually strive to provide them with the best service possible. We are poised to help them achieve more success in the coming years.”

Layer3 has not been only about business but has been actively involved in several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects. A recent example was its support of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) headquarters in 2020 during the height of the pandemic.

This strengthened the NCDC’s communication capacities as it battled the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also supports several initiatives in the Nigerian start-up ecosystem.

Layefr3’s journey has also been marked by several industry awards picked along the way. They include the Nigeria Customer Service Award (in 2015 and 2016), Managed IT Service Provider of the Year (2017), and the Beacon Award for Cloud Service Provider of the Year (2018). Layer3 was also named as one of the London Stock Exchange’s Companies to Inspire Africa in 2019.
