Linkserve, premiere Internet Service Provider recently deployed its Blast Broadband at the just concluded African Union ICT conference where it delivered exceptionally high performance Internet connection to African Information and Communication ministers.
Visitors at the Linkserve booth at the conference were Mallam Namadi Sambo, Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Dora Akunyili, minister for Information and Communications as well as Mallam Labaran Maku, minister of State for Information and Communications.
They commended Linkserve for providing free Internet Access to the AU Ministers, participants and guests at the conference. Mallam Labaran Maku, specifically praised Linkserve for the excellent performance of the Blast Broadband service throughout the conference.
Mr. Victor Oisaghie, Linkserve’s managing director/Chief Executive Office, thanked them and expressed his satisfaction with the performance of Blast Broadband throughout the duration of the conference. He said, ‘Blast Broadband is truly a revolutionary product and it is our intention at Linkserve to bring about a complete change to the average Nigerian internet user.’ He went on to add that the cafe operated by the company had turned out to be a centre of attraction at the conference; ‘As you can see, virtually everyone has been to our stand to see what Linkserve is all about and to get a first hand feel of our revolutionary Blast Broadband.’
Oisaghie then announced Linkserve’s intention to introduce a promotional offer of Blast Broadband in order to commiserate Nigeria’s upcoming 50th independence anniversary.  “Linkserve has always played a major role in our country’s development. Our desire for every Nigerian to have access to the Internet is our driving force and to this end, we are introducing a promotional offer for Blast Broadband. For the next 50 days, Linkserve will celebrate Nigeria at 50 by offering Blast Broadband equipment at N50,000 with 250 kilobits per second bandwidth,” he said.
Oisaghie added that Linkserve is an organisation that has a deep passion to play a significant role in Nigeria’s development.
