Nigeria’s trendsetting and frontline insurance company, Mansard Insurance plc has partnered one of the leading technology brands in the world, Microsoft to deliver to Nigerians an outstanding experience with the newly introduced Nokia Lumia 930.

The Nokia Lumia 930 was introduced to the Nigerian market at a media launch in Lagos.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Yomi Onifade, Mansard’s director of Retail Business, disclosed that the partnership with Microsoft on the Nokia Lumia 930 is one the company is proud of as it is the coming together of two forward thinking and innovative companies, aimed at delivering an experience that is the first of its kind to Nigerians.

Speaking further on what the partnership entails, Onifade said every new Lumia 930 comes with free insurance which covers two screen damages and one liquid damage.

The insurance is in place for a period of one year and everyone one that purchases the Nokia Lumia 930 from any of the authorized outlets in Nigeria is automatically covered.

He further said buyers should be on the lookout for the Mansard Insurance sticker on their Nokia Lumia 930.

Answering questions from journalists on how to make a claim in the event that what it is insured against should happen, he stated that all that has to be done is for the phone owner to report at any Nokia Care outlet or authorized point, the phone will be examined to know if it’s is under warranty, if it is the Nokia team will send the customers information to Mansard, the phone will be repaired and Mansard will pay Nokia Care for the repair.

Mansard Insurance plc, was incorporated in 1989 as a private limited liability company and is registered as a composite company with the National Insurance Commission of Nigeria (NAICOM).

The Company offers life and non-life insurance products and services to individuals and institutions across Nigeria whilst also offering Investment Management and Health Maintenance solutions through its two subsidiaries, Mansard Investments Limited and Mansard Health Limited respectively.

The company also recently received NAICOM’s approval for Micro Insurance Operations.
