This is even as the event got a new date of 7th of October with its Golden Gate Ikoyi-venue retained.

It is in that bid to ensure that the event offers the maximum value to the industry that the organizers have explained their decision to slightly change the date of the event from the 4th of September to the 7th of October 2008.
Ejiofor Agada, chief executive officer, Private Media Mart Limited (PMM), organizers of the event explained that the current repair works on the third-mainland bridge has necessitated the need to move the event forward.
"The hardships people go through on the bridge everyday since the maintenance works started will make it difficult for participants to realize the ultimate benefit from the event," he said.
