With “Africa Startup”, an initiative by Microsoft Nigeria, the tech giant will enable successful entrepreneurs share their experience of what it takes to start and grow a business in Africa.
Evaristus Ezekwem, audience evangelist at Microsoft, told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek that Microsoft believes the more the number of successful startups in Nigeria, the more the country can solve her problem and improve the lives of her citizens.
On the aim of the program, Ezekwem, said, “is to inspire more successful entrepreneurs and small-medium scale businesses in Nigeria and other African countries in the face of our contracting economy.
With the maiden edition launching this Thursday with 2 seasoned Nigerian entrepreneurs Oluyomi Ojo – Founder and CEO of Printivo, one of the fastest growing online printing service startups in Africa will share his success stories via twitter alongside Mark Essien – Founder/CEO of HotelsNg, an online based hotel booking platform based in Nigeria.
