Mobile West Africa has been officially announced for the fourth edition of the leading and progressive business-focused technology event in West Africa region.

The conference, Matthew Dawes, managing director for All Amber, in an email to Nigeria CommunicationsWeek will be returning to Lagos from 13 – 16 May 2014.

Speaking on the reasons for the launch, Dawes said, it implies prospect delegates can, “Digest the best agenda we’ve ever put together. Check out our (ridiculously impressive) speaker faculty.

Register your place for the event (and take advantage of the early booking discounts)”.

He said they have implemented a 5 point masterplan like securing Dr Ernest Ndukwe to speak at the event; “The man that I consider to be the founding father of mobile data in Nigeria, to present for the first time.

“Confirm the individual that Forbes rated as the most influential person on mobile in the world (Mr Tomi T Ahonen) to deliver a Special Address and Full Day Workshop.

“Create the most progressive and impressive agenda we’ve ever put together.  Make sure it features a massive array of the leading individuals and organisations (for example, Segun Ogunsanya, the CEO & Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria).

“Focus on the core issues – industry growth, partnerships & collaboration, being successful, monetisation, entertainment, brands and start-ups.

“Deliver extra value for attendees and partners by expanding the exhibition area, enhancing the format, and teaming up with the Co-Creation Hub to organise a Networking Football Tournament to close the conference”.

He urged industry players to take advantage of the business platform that Mobile West Africa has become.
