Montgomery to Empower 2000 Women on Technology @ WOWe Festival 2015

Montgomery West Africa said it is excited to announce the Women of West Africa Entrepreneurship Festival (WOWe) 2015 which is now less than 2 weeks away.

The conference is dedicated to meeting today’s challenges for the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

WOWe has rebranded to a Festival this year as it combines both Education and Entertainment elements (Edu-tainment) and also plans to bring together about 1,000 to 2,000 women entrepreneurs from Nigeria and the West African region.

The WOWe brand opens women’s eyes to large scale entrepreneurship and carries women along throughout the year to act as a support structure and portal for capacity development.

This year’s theme according to the organisers, is turning Vision to Reality and focuses on Agriculture, Technology, and Manufacturing, Financing, People Management, Exports and the Creative Industries.

Key Speakers include, Tewa Onasanya, CEO, Exquisite Magazine Speaker – Vision to Reality Panel; Fatoumata Ba, Co-CEO Jumia Nigeria – Vision to Reality Panel; Developing Capacity and Skills to make your business an Entrepreneurship Powerhouse; Caterina Bortolussi, Founder and Creative Director, Kinabuti –Thriving in the Fashion and Beauty Industries; Chude Jideonwo Executive Director, the Future Project Africa and Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, CEO Wecyclers – Vision to Reality Panel.

Others are Uju Irukwu, Managing Director Chapel Hill Denham- Vision to Reality Panel and Tokunboh Ishmael CO-Founder and Managing Director, Alitheia Capital- Finance and Investment Panel.

The WOWe Festival 2015 will be an opportunity for female entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (corporate professional women with entrepreneurial ambitions) to secure practical information on how to transform their businesses and realise their entrepreneurial ambitions.

‎The Festival will also bring together local and international entrepreneurs, brand ambassadors and influencers of Nigeria’s dynamic entrepreneurship landscape.

The festival which holds on 25-26th of June, 2015 at Landmark Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria, will also showcase innovative products and solutions from industry leaders and key decision makers driving change and defining industries in Nigeria.
