As the Nigerian Postal Service management makes effort to make the organization to be self sustaining, Mori Baba, the postmaster general of the federation has tasked area postal managers to shore up quality of service they offer in their respective areas of authority.
Mori Baba made the appeal while briefing area postal managers, venture managers and other service management staff of the organization on this year’s Pan African Post celebration in Abuja.  Information from the Public Relations Department of Nipost revealed that Nipost would work with private and public sector organizations to ensure the delivery of higher quality of service to Nigerians.
It would be recalled that the Nipost management entered into Memorandum of Understanding with Galaxy Backbone to install internet and turn Nipost offices in the federation to ICT park using Vsat infrastructure. Leveraging on that development, the organization is also partnering with Union Bank to provide Automated Teller Machines (ATM) in post offices in strategic locations in the country.
