The presentation of these devices took place on February 19 and was attended by notable government officials, including Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, and other key ministers.

The Vice President highlighted the importance of private sector partnerships in achieving President Bola Tinubu’s goal of providing quality education to every Nigerian child.

Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, MTN Nigeria's Chairman, emphasized the company's commitment to advancing digital literacy and bridging the digital divide. The donated tablets come pre-installed with U-Lesson software, aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.

Mallam Isa Okuru, Principal of Government Science Secondary School, expressed gratitude for the donation, stating it would enhance students' digital literacy, research capabilities, coding skills, and overall academic performance. He urged students to maximize the use of these resources.

MTN Nigeria continues to play a significant role in creating a sustainable and inclusive society through such initiatives.
