MTN Nigeria, Nigeria CommunicationsWeek gathered, will today announce the commencement of its 21 Days of Y’ello Care.
The annual staff volunteer programme which runs across the MTN footprint for 21 days, from 1 to 21 June, and encourages all MTN employees to volunteer , is in support of community upliftment initiatives.
From its humble beginnings in 2007, 21 Days of Y’ello Care has grown to become one of the highlights on the MTN calendar.
Due to the lack of access to quality education and infrastructure in some of markets where it operates, MTN chose to focus its CSI efforts primarily on education.
Thus, in 2014, MTN employees cast the spotlight on the digitisation of teaching and learning as part of their 21 Days of Y’ello Care activities.
For the third consecutive year, MTN employees united under the theme of ‘Investing in education for all’ as they embarked on various educational projects for 21 days between 1 and 21 June.
The 2015 theme shall be unveiled later today at its Nigeria head office in Lagos.
