Telecommunications giant MTN, has announced a free speed upgrade worth up to N480, 000 for its HyConnect Internet customers. MTN HyConnect customers who are already enjoying some of the fastest Internet speeds in the industry will be able to enjoy an even better experience after this upgrade.
“This is in line with our goal at MTN to continually deliver more value and a better customer experience to our esteemed customers,” said Derek Appiah, MTN chief Enterprise Solutions Officer, who oversees MTN Business. MTN’s comprehensive range of services, from fixed to mobile, inclusive of data, internet services and network solutions is focused on assisting businesses realize their full potential (locally, regionally and globally) by providing an array of innovative and customized productivity enhancing communication and technology solutions.
“And we are not doing this for only a category of our MTN HyConnect customers. This bumper speed upgrade will be implemented on all MTN HyConnect Internet lines absolutely free,” added Appiah.
By the time the exercise is concluded, MTN HyConnect Internet customers will be able to enjoy twice their current speeds, download much more in much less time and have a much richer Internet browsing experience, he said.
According to the Chief Enterprise Solutions Officer, the upgrade commenced in the first week of November and will be implemented with special caution to ensure that customers experience little or no downtime.
“This is our way of thanking our customers for their patronage as we continue to explore better ways of fostering an even better relationship with them,” MTN Corporate Services Executive, Mr Wale Goodluck said. “We are demonstrating to our current and prospective customers that they are better off on the MTN network’’.
