In appreciation of the continued patronage by dealers, Multi-Links/Telkom has given out two four-wheel drive vehicles, 25 motorcycles and 33 HP laptops to its dealers with a pledge not to cease in appreciating dedication shown by customers in its growth process.

The gifts were showered on the dealers at a colourful dinner organized for the dealers last week, where Easy & Quiet; and Seaman were considered the best two dealers of the company.

Easy & Quiet, which came from the Lagos area zone of the company, won the N20 million-worth Lexus 570; while Seaman smiled home with Kia Sportage. Similarly, 33 dealers won laptops while another 25 were rewarded with motorcycles.

Speaking at the dinner, Mr. Justin Ramayia, chief executive officer, Multi-Link, commended the dealers whom he considered the backbone of the telecom firm.

Telkom acquired Multilinks in 2007, when the subscribers’ base was merely 200,000, but today, barely seven months after acquisition, the figure has soared to over 1,000,000.

Satisfied with the feat, Ramayia declared that the dinner was organized to honour the esteemed channel partners. "You have supported us to achieve one million subscribers in our massive expansion drive across the country. It is really good to see you all and I want to thank you for making time from your busy schedules to be here this evening".

Receiving the award on behalf of Easy & Quiet, Mohammed Anthony, expressed appreciation; saying the initiative would serve as a booster for his company to do more in the area of distributing Multi-Links/Telkom in different parts of the country.

He therefore assured the management of Multi-Links that his team would continue to explore possible ways through which the products of the telecom firm could be made more easily accessible to different cadres of prospective subscribers.

More so, Emeka Agbanare, who received the award on behalf of Seaman, commended the management of Multi-Links/Telkom for the award; which he described as morale booster.

According to him, the expansion programme embarked upon by the current management of Multi-Links/Telkom is a welcome development that would certainly yield enormous dividends for stakeholders.

Following Multi-Links acquisition by Telkom, Ramayi explained, the management set out clear objectives to quickly change Multi-Links from a small operator to a major player in the ICT arena of the country; promising that the goal will become very evident daily as giant strides are made.

Already, Multi-Links has installed 269 base stations, 223 towers and grown its fibre deployment to 2,500kms. It has also extended its switch capacity in Lagos and Abuja.
