“This gesture is an initiative worth emulating by other organizations. The contribution will go a long way in encouraging self reliance and hard work, not just for the beneficiaries today, but also other operators of small and medium scale enterprises,” he said.
The goodwill demonstrated by the Murtala Mohammed Foundation was done under the canopy of its Computer-for-Micro Business Development Project. The project is designed to support small and medium scale enterprises through the provision of computer hardware, software and free IT services.
Businesses are selected through a rigorous screening exercise, which evaluates companies’ integrity, trust, honesty, resilience in self reliance, quality of products and service delivery. J. J. Company was presented with two computers worth N130, 000.

Company are youths who have shown resilience towards becoming self reliant by running a business of their own and contributing to the economic growth and development of Lagos Island.
“They have shown integrity, trust and honesty in the cause of their business and these are valuable ideals we look for in making the computers available to any company. I can say with great assurance that the company’s products are outstanding.”
Segun Omotosho, CEO J. J. Company appreciated the initiative of the Foundation stating that the gesture is overwhelming for him and his associates. “I deeply appreciate this goodwill by Murtala Mohammed Foundation. This is a great encouragement for me and my fellow workers.”
