The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has set up a 622 Toll Free customer careline for consumers to call and lay complaints if they feel they have been under-served by their network provider.

The agency however advised consumers to first call their networks providers to lodge complaints before they call the NCC's 622 toll free customer careline.

According to the NCC, “Ask for your complaint number when first calling your network provider to lodge the complaint”

Also, the NCC insisted that sending "STOP" to 2442 will activate a full Do-Not-Disturb service which will prevent all unsolicited texts messages from being received, while sending "HELP" to 2442 will give the consumer a list of options on which type of text they wish to receive.
