NCS’ Flagship Award ‘NITMA 2014’ Beckons

Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) will once again be rewarding and celebrating excellence and outstanding contributions in Nigeria’s Information Technology (IT) space.

2014 National Information Technology Merit Award (NITMA) continues with its rich tradition of annually recognizing the best of the Nigerian IT profession and industry.

NCS, the nation’s foremost network of Information Technology (IT) practitioners and stakeholders will hold the most important and recognized award ceremony in the sector, at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria on November 14.

Professor David O. Adewumi, NCS president, according to statement released by NCS, has promised that NITMA 2014 will honour those have made significant impact in expanding the frontiers of Information Technology in Nigeria.

The Awards Nite celebrates the best of Nigerian information technology creativity and innovation changing society in fundamental ways.

Award winners are recognized for being inspiring symbols through their expertise and hard work.

Annually through NITMA, NCS honours and rewards excellence and tremendous contributions in the development and deployment of Information Technology in the country and the Diaspora.

Category awards are based on IT specialization, NCS standards and global best practices. Professional fellowships are also be conferred on deserving members.

The high profile award-nite promotes excellence, high performance and innovation within the Nigerian IT community to encourage such performance from practitioners, organizations and stakeholders.
