NigeriaCom Returns to Lagos Today

Today NigeriaCom returns for the 5th consecutive year as the leading event for telecoms, media and ICT content. 

According to the organizers, the event is in continuous innovation to bring players the most timely and relevant analyses, case studies and discussions including areas such as cloud services, digital entertainment and mobile money as well as the ever-evolving network & connectivity and customer experience management spheres.

One of the prominent features at the event involves a presentation by WTL to five of Nigeria’s interconnect exchange carriers, Breeze Micro, Exchange, ICN, Niconnx and Solid.

The presentation will demonstrate to the five interconnect carriers that more than one billion minutes (exchanges) have passed through their networks using WTL's 2nd generation VoIP switches.

NigeriaCom 2014 is high level two day conference that pays significant attention to the National Broadband Plan roll out, new business strategies for operators amid the digital migration, chief regulatory debates and showcasing LTE/4G technologies.

In addition, mobile money challenges will be tackled by high level speakers from the Central Bank and financial institutions.

The Nigerian telecoms market is the fastest growing in the world, complementing the fact that Nigeria has become Africa’s largest economy in GDP terms.
