National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is to partner with Accenture on capacity building in the area of e-government, according to Peter Jack, director general of NITDA.

Jack made this known while receiving the Accenture team who paid him a courtesy visit in his Abuja office recently.

Accenture is a global management company that develops capacity plan, training and technical assistance.

 The NITDA DG noted that the focus of his administration was to position the agency as prime catalyst for national transformation for global competitiveness.

He also noted that his agency and Accenture are partners in progress which have achieved so much in the IT industry. He believed that the partnership would spur the two institutions to greater height.

Mr. Niyi Yusuf, managing director of Accenture assured NITDA management that Accenture as a global management company and as an independent consulting company will put its wealth of experience in order to achieve the desired goals of the partnership.
