NITDA to Present e-Nigeria 2014

National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has commenced programmes towards presenting eNigeria 2014.

e-Nigeria is an annual international conference on Information Technology (IT).

According to NITDA, theme for this year’s conference is “Creating Marketing Opportunities for Indigenous IT Products and Services”.

other subjects to be digested during the conference include, Showcasing Indigenous IT Innovations for National Development; Value Addition, Wealth Creation and Job Creation; Strategies For Enhancing Quality of Made in Nigeria Goods & Services; Building IT Entrepreneurs and Human Capital in Nigeria and Leveraging International IT Exposure and Fora for Showcasing Nigeria Content.

NITDA will also use the opportunity to organize e-Governance Awards for recognizing efforts in leveraging ICT for better governance in Nigeria. The conference has been scheduled for 18th – 20th November at Congress Hall Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria.

Key dignitaries expected at the conference are: Jelani Aliyu, MFR, Lead Concept Designer, Chevrolet Volt Electric Car (Keynote Speaker), Mrs. Omobola Johnson, Minister of Communication Technology (Chief Host) and Mr. Peter Jack, DG, NITDA (Host).
