Niyi Adeosun, promoter of africanbusinesscontacts.com, an online directory of company names and their services, has said that the portal will boost businesses in Africa.
Adeosun, who doubles as the project lead of Massony Nigeria, the firm behind the project, said the need for such a portal had become necessary against the backdrop of challenges that African businesses face in the area of Internet presence.

He said Africa currently lacks an online Internet directory of company names, a situation which has often made it difficult to find reliable information on who was doing what on the continent.
