Pantami Decries Underutilization of NITDA’s Deployed ICT Infrastructures

Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has expressed displeasure over the action by some organizations that lock up NITDA’s various intervention projects to the detriment of the host communities.

Dr Pantami made this known during a meeting with delegation from Umaru Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto State, held at the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters, recently.

He disclosed that, he personally made the discovery when he paid an unscheduled visit to one of the beneficiaries of the Agency’s Digital Capacity Building Centre, while calling for change of such attitude among the beneficiaries.

The management of the School were at NITDA to thank the Agency for deploying a Digital Capacity Building Centre back in the year 2013 and also solicited for a virtual library and network connectivity to promote teaching and learning in the institution.
