Phase3 Telecom and Dancom Technologies, Nigeria’s leading providers of carrier services, have said that their partnership will boost broadband services in the country.
The companies recently confirmed that all required upgrades have been made on their respective networks to provide robust transmission services to deliver reliable   broadband services to individual end-users and Businesses
Mr. Stanley Jegede, Chief Executive Officer, Phase3 Telecom, said that both firms have made extensive investment to deliver transmission services that will enhance and ensure that high-quality broadband services are available to all users and Businesses in line with global realities of today.
“We realize that there is an increasing requirement for broadband services in Nigeria in line with global development and we at Phase3 Telecom are ready to facilitate the effective delivery of same to businesses and all other users using our reliable aerial fiber optic network. This informs our partnership with Dancom Technologies which has resulted in the development of one of the most robust and extensive fiber optic network coverage in the country.
“We are ready to lead the broadband revolution and ensure that we help Nigerians enjoy the benefits and comfort of broadband connection,” Jegede said.
Mr. Boye Olusanya, Chief Executive Officer, Dancom Technologies, , stated that the companies have put in some of the most adavanced technologies in their networks to help meet expectation of customers.
“Our aim has always been to provide quality service to our customers. In driving this we have invested significantly in the latest technologies that can deliver required services to our customers. This investment coupled with our use of aerial fibre as well as our partnership with Phase3 allows us to meet and surpass the quality threshold we set for ourselves,” he said
It will be recalled that in 2009, Phase3 Telecom partnered Dancom Technologies, (formerly Alheri Engineering Limited), a subsidiary of Dangote Group, to build a massive communications backbone traversing all major towns and cities in the country to cover 14,000Km of fiber network
Under the partnership, both companies have connected their aerial optic fiber cable making both networks to work as a single system to provide services to major telecommunication companies, businesses and government.
