Pilot Science Company Limited (PSCL), an indigenous engineering services company in the country, has made moves to dominate the South-West region market as part of measures adopted to further enhance its delivery of quality service.
In a bid to achieve this, the company has expanded its office facility in Lagos, Nigeria while its main head office remains in Abuja, the capital city of the country.
The company disclosed this development recently in a press statement issued in Lagos, stating that it was repositioning to enhance continuity in its usual prompt delivery of service to both existing and prospective clients in the telecommunications, power and engineering sectors.
Ayodeji Baruwa, business development manager of PSCL, noted that the company was poised to leverage on its new state of the art Factory/Office in Lagos and its seasoned personnel in the design/fabrication of telecoms equipment shelters of various sizes using sandwich panel as the major raw material, which used in Data centres and BTS locations.
Baruwa assured that the shelters are durable, cost effective and suitable for use at all seasons of the year.
He said, “Equipment Shelter has been our focus and we are leading in it in the industry.
“We have made a landmark in that area, and this has forced the importers to look inwards.
“Our equipment shelter products are 100 percent local contents. We have carved a niche with it in the telecom sector and made it fully indigenous.
“This is just to back up our effort and vision, and we assure our existing and prospective clients of more quality services, delivered within the right time frame, while still maintaining our local prices.”
Similarly, Pilot Science was recently conferred with an honour as Indigenous Telecoms Support Service Company of the Year 2013 at the annual Nigerian Telecoms Award held in Lagos.
While expressing his delight over the award, Engineer Festus Akinpelu, managing director and chief executive officer of PSCL, assured that the company will not rest on its oars to satisfy the numerous customers.
He described the recognition as an outcome of the company’s commitment to its vision, adding that PSCL will continue to remain focused, offering standard quality and prompt delivery of services at affordable prices.
“We have remained focused despite all the challenges we have encountered in the course of our business journey. I think the award is a pay back from the industry for our consistency, commitment and efficiency in service.
“As at today, we have actually made tremendous impact in the engineering, power and telecoms sector through our several business initiatives”, Akinpelu said.
According to him, the award did not come as a surprise but as a deserved honour due to the company’s frantic efforts and commitment to serving its clients with quality and prompt delivery of service since its inception.
