Ayo Alamu has been moved from the Sales Unit to head the marketing and corporate affairs of Red Star Express Plc.  He replaces Charles Ejekam who has been moved up the ladder. Before Alamu.assumed his recent position, he had been in the finance, oil and gas and the telecom sectors of their business.
Alamu.said he would continue with the programmes his predecessor was  running before he was redeployed  and said he would build up on  those ideas and improve on them if need be.
Alamu is a graduate of Geography from the University of Lagos and has had a lot of training which were essentially sales -driven such as essential selling skills, advanced selling skills and managing key accounts.  He has also participated in development training among others.
He said that Red Star Express will continue to defend its market share irrespective of the sliding world economy.
Red Star Plc is a leading indigenous courier firm that has expanded into so many other segments of the courier business and it is among the few that are listed on the Stock Exchange.
