Samsung Parades Cost Effective Printers

Samsung Electronics West Africa, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, the second largest vendor in global printing market, paraded state of the art printers designed for a trouble free experience for media executives at an event tagged “Samsung Print Office Experience”.
Nicholas Shin, vice president, Nicholas Shin, vice president, Samsung Electronics West Africa, said the company is deploying its product line across Nigeria. He said though the company is a bit late in coming to the Nigerian market, it hopes to be strong and be the number one in the market.
One of the devices on parade was the SCX-3200, the compact multi-function printer designed for professionals and students who need simple and cost-effective access to a device that can print, copy and scan at the touch of a button. The SCX-3200 caters to these needs with a space-saving, integrated design that provides one-touch functionality without compromising on style or environmental credentials.
Another device, Samsung’s mono laser printer ML-3310/3710 series, designed for small workgroups offers a productive, economical, trouble-free and versatile printing solution for the office. These users generally have an average monthly print volume (AMPV) of up to 1,500 pages. The ML-3710 series and ML-3310ND have a capacity of up to 820 sheets of paper with a second cassette option, whilst the ML-3710 series supports up to 80,000 prints at maximum monthly duty. Users in the finance, education, healthcare and governments will find this series particularly suited for their needs.
“Samsung understands that consumers don’t want to worry about working out how to use their new devices,” said Chioma Iwuckukwu-Nweke, IT Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa. “With the new printers, we have incorporated a wide range of features in a stylish and compact device to make printing simple and convenient.”
Also on parade during the Samsung Print Office Experience is the ML3310/ ML-3710 series, the world’s first A4 mono laser printer with a dual core 600MHz CPU, which offers high productivity with a speed of 52ppm/62ppm delivers faster for large printing jobs with graphs and images and can support various paper types such as thick paper or cardstock and conveniently hold these pages in the cassette.
Samsung’s ML-3310/3710 series come complete with Samsung’s in-house solution for fleet management and Managed Print Service. Samsung SyncThru-Admin remotely monitors and manages all Samsung device and print settings whilst the CounThru solution counts billing and job accounting.
The CLX-3185, CLX-3185N, CLX-3185FN and CLX-3185FW colour laser MFPs offer print speeds of up to 16 pages per minute (ppm) in monochrome and 4 ppm in colour. The fax capability of the CLX-3185FN and CLX-3185FW provides a convenient solution for users that require fax capabilities.

Samsung printers are wireless-enabled with Samsung’s one-touch Wi-Fi and are backed with certified Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ to ensure the wireless connection is secured. The MFPs also incorporate Samsung’s Navigation Key Ring to further enhance the intuitive user experience. The user can navigate the printing options quickly and easily, reducing the amount of time it takes to gain familiarity with the device.
Samsung print devices are also compatible with Samsung’s AnyWeb Print software which allows users to select, drag and drop specific content from web pages into a new blank page on their PC screen, which they can save or print. The AnyWeb Print software allows users to print just the information they really need, rather than printing the whole web page. This means users are saving time and resources such as paper and toner.
