Slok Group Plan Mobile Phone Launch in Nigeria
Dr Orji Kalu, erstwhile Abia State governor and founder Slok Group, has disclosed that his company will unveil mobile phones called, Slok Mobile, into the Nigerian, South African and other markets in Africa
He said this in Lagos while speaking with journalists yesterday, shortly on arrival from a business trip overseas.
According to Orji, the Slok Mobile phones would be introduced in many African markets in the two months, adding that the phone has all the features of modern phones and that it can compete with other phones in the market.
According to him, “Very soon, the Slok Group is rolling out the first ever indigenously made mobile phone called Slok Mobile. It is phone we have built to be sold in Nigeria and across Africa. I am rolling out the Slok Telephone in less than eight weeks time.”
The former governor said that Slok phone would be a utility phone and that Slok Group is truly an African company but that is proudly Nigeria.
