Starcomms Plc Nigeria’s 4th largest telecommunications operator and leading "triple-play" (mobile, fixed wireless voice, wireless broadband) provider has announced a special all time low priced offer for its EV-DO Mobile Data Card.

Mr. Maher Qubain, chief executive officer, said the new offer price for the Sierra Wireless Aircard 580 will now be N6, 999. In addition to this all time low pricing ever for an EV-DO card, there is additional free fifty (50) hours of internet access loaded. He stated that the aircard is user friendly, easy to carry and gives maximum performance using less battery power.

The Starcomms 3G EV-DO Mobile Broadband Services styled ‘iZAP’ offers various customized renewal packages that include izap Purple Always (Activation Pack) for 24 hours connectivity, izap Purple Business (Activation Pack) for 9am to 9pm connectivity, meeting the needs of customers who are into business; and izap Purple Night (Activation Pack) for 9pm to 9am connectivity aimed at night surfers and working executives who wish to browse after office hours. Also available are the new Hourly Packages of 100 and 250 hours with 30 days and 90 days validity respectively, aimed at customers who wish to be in control of their browsing hours and spend.

Maher added that the objective of doing this is to increase the penetration of internet services in Nigeria, he encouraged the young professionals, students, working executives to avail themselves of the new bouquet of offer aimed at enhancing educational, business, professional and entrepreneurial development in the country. He assured Nigerians that the company will not relent in its quest to ensure continuous consumer satisfaction and the provision of seamless communication to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing world.
