National Association of Telecommunications Subscribers (Natcoms), the umbrella body of telecommunications consumers in the country said it will confer the Nigeria Telecoms Platinum Award to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former president, for creating the enabling environment for Telecoms Revolution in Nigeria.
A statement signed by Deolu Ogunbanjo and Bayo Omotubora, national president and national secretary respectively said the award will climax its first National Telecoms Summit and Award Presentation taking place this Friday in Lagos.
Obasanjo etched his name in history books for lending political will to the telecom revolution that has changed everything in Nigeria.
