Ataga was allegedly murdered by Chidinma Ojukwu, a 300-level Mass Communication student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in Lagos recently.

Before his death, the media mogul and his team were reportedly putting finishing touches to SuperTV’s IPTV service.

The idea of SuperTV IPTV service is to broadcast a mix of local and international networks from all genres including; children’s television, entertainment, news, sports, theater, movies, documentaries and news.

These channels are offered on video-on-demand platforms in partnership with mobile network operators in Nigeria and across Africa.

Subscribers will be able to broadcast on their connected devices even without an active Internet plan.

Also the SuperTV’s Content Distribution Marketplace is a platform designed for local and international live TV channels, content distributors, film makers and independent TV producers to monetize premium, fresh and library content directly to consumers (over 50 million mobile subscribers in Nigeria), using SuperTV’s zero data for streaming technology.
