The board of Task Systems has approved the acquisition of Buyright Africa DotCom by the former in her ambition to launch the biggest online and ICT retail smart Shops network in the country to compliment her leadership position in the ICT solution sector.
Mr. Stanley Okpalaeke, managing director of Task Systems said that with this arrangement concluded, Task System will launch out with eight smart shops and warehousing facilities under the name of “TaskDirect” in Victoria Island, Gbagada, Asaba, Uyo, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Kano, Abuja before the end of this month.
The flagship store in Owerri, Imo state will be launched in December while the ultimate digital lifestyle store will be launched in the heart of Abuja in February with a 2000sq.meter demo center.
“We already have the Board’s approval to takeover the leadership of the online and smart retail shops network in Nigeria before June next year and they have approved the required fund’ Okpalaeke said.
“We has the people, the technology and the hunger and coming from a leading technology group -Zinox, we have no option than to deliver. We will be in the heart of every state of Nigeria before the end of 2014 and have restructured the very successful digital equipment ownership scheme and added some peps. We sincerely believe that it has become a right of every citizen of this nation” he added.
Task Systems Ltd, a leading ICT Solution Company in the oil and gas, financial and telecoms sectors of the economy was launched by Africa’s leading digital entrepreneur –Leo Stan Ekeh in 1987 and has been responsible for a lot of technology innovations in the country and has to her credit a lot of distinguished international and national Awards .
Commenting on the development, Mr. Emmanuel Onyeje, chief operating officer of Zinox Group who is supervising this expansion on behalf of the Group, said it is an expansion whose time has come.
