Tobeit Plans IT Security Festival ‘Hackcess’

Tobeit Consulting, one of Nigeria’s fastest growing Information Technology Companies, plans to organize the first ever IT Security Festival in Nigeria.

The technology conference and exhibition is schedule to take place in Lagos, Nigeria from June 5 to 6 this year. This event which has been tagged “Hackess” is aimed at bringing together ICT experts from the West African region to come and discuss issues and challenges around IT security.

According to Tobechi Ndubuaku, chief operating officer of Tobeit, ‘Hackcess was born out of a desire to help educate corporate organizations, both large and medium scale companies and the public on some of those burning technology areas that are most times rarely discussed’.

The Hackcess festival will discuss the ‘Hacking idea’ in such a way that has not been discussed in this part of the world before.

The Conferences at this Festival will play hosts to some of the world’s most reputable ICT Companies who have invested a lot in IT Security solutions and are spending a lot of resources on Research and development to curb most of the IT challenges most organizations are currently undergoing.

The two day event billed to take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites Lagos will create a platform for ICT technocrats from the Financial services, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications and SMB industries to share their experience and chart a better path of securing information and the growing amount of data generated via modern transactions.

The challenges that affect both public and private cloud have been highlighted as some of the key issues to be discussed.
