TPS Launches ePayment Systems in Nigeria

Transaction Payment Solutions (TPS) has officially announced the opening its electronic payment solutions in Nigeria including Point of Sale (PoS) terminals, repairs and warranty for terminals, software development and support and ACI position software solutions.

At the event in Lagos recently, the company with presence in most countries in Africa promised to rejig e-payment processes in Nigeria by enabling businesses of all sizes, including banks, to meet the requirements of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN’s) cashless policy.

Established in 1992, TPS partners other specialists in financial services to provide a one-stop-shop for the financial sector and other organizations which need electronic payment systems.

Harry Nnoli, head of TPS in Nigeria said the company perfected plans to offer full range of PoS and PINpads devices from Ingenico and VeriFone to suit businesses of all sizes with additional integrated terminals solutions including applications, hardware and communications to suit customer needs.

He said: “in addition to standard credit and debit card payments. TPS provides PoS based prepaid prepaid and postpaid bill payment solutions to retailers and banks. These will enable Nigerian residents to pay their bills; electricity, water, phone, etc, using a PoS terminal.

“Stratus Sales Support is essentially for organizations with mission-critical applications that must always be protected against downtime and data loss.. TPS in-house software development team can customize products for individual businesses.

Nnoli also stated that TPS will be offering Nigerians fast and affordable connectivity for electronic payments through satellite and wireless telecommunications services.   

According to him, the feat will be achieved through Liquid Telecom equipment, which provides connectivity throughout Africa using fibre, satellite and wireless broadband.
