Transcend, a leading global brand of digital storage, multimedia and industrial products, has announced the launch of a new product SDXC/SDHC Class 3 UHS-II SD Cards.

Wilson Chen, country manager, North and West Africa, told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek that, Transcend's SDXC/SDHC Class 3 UHS-II SD cards are designed for today's UHS-II compatible DSLRs and camcorders to bring out the real high speed performance.

The SD Cards feature the incredible read and write speeds of up to 285MB/s and 180MB/s* respectively, the cards allow professional outdoor photographers and videographers to capture flawless RAW images and record ultra-high quality 4K, 2K and Full HD videos.

Chen, said, “Additionally, the top-tier MLC NAND flash chips inside provide consistent long-life durability and endurance. They offer the fastest transfer speeds to capture breath-taking moments. When paired with a UHS-II compatible DSLR or camcorder, the SDXC/SDHC Class 3 UHS-II SD card delivers the exceptional transfer speeds of up to 285MB/s read and 180MB/s write, providing at least 3 times faster speed than UHS-I U3 SD memory cards
