Travellers on Glo Roaming Bundles Get Attractive Offers

Travellers from Nigeria who are on the Globacom network now have access to flexible and affordable data roaming bundles whenever they travel on holiday or business, enabling them to connect with matters of interest at all times.

The digital solutions provider said the service will be available on 46 selected networks across 40 countries including the United States, France, United Kingdom, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Ireland, Brazil, India, South Africa, among others.

Customers are expected to dial *312# and select Option 5 to select their preferred data roaming bundle. “The subscriber can dial the code to purchase a pack either while in Nigeria or when they are at their travel destination.

“While roaming service is automatically activated on prepaid lines, Postpaid customers however need to activate roaming service before subscribing to any Data Roaming Bundle of their choice. The validity begins when the user lands in the destination country and starts browsing”, Globacom said.

The new roaming bundles will offer Glo subscribers travelling to these destinations the opportunity to stay connected to matters of interest and capture incredible photo and video moments of their trips.

“They can equally share such moments with friends and loved ones back home without stress. They can also stay up to date with their business engagements and conduct business as though they are not away from their business locations”, Glo noted.

Customers are also required to connect to one of the recommended networks listed on the company’s website. Selecting a different network would see them being charged on Pay-As-You-Go rates as applicable. The company disclosed that customers will receive regular consumption messages to enable them to monitor their consumption and depletion of the data they purchase.

The telecommunications giant added that the data bundles are in various sizes to avail customers more options of choice, based on need at any particular time. For instance, a N2,500, subscription gives a subscriber 50MB of roaming data which is valid for 3 days, while for N5,000, the customer gets 125MB of roaming data valid for seven days.

N10,000 gets the customer 1GB of roaming data, which is valid for 10 days. For N25,000, the customer gets a roaming data of 2.5GB valid for 30 days, while for N50,000, the customer gets a massive 6GB of roaming data, which is valid for 60 days.
