txtNation, leading SMS messaging aggregator,  have announced they have released a new, next generation SMSC in a bid to mix it with the best, in the SMS wholesale market.

Substantial investments over the last year have enabled txtNation to add further functionality and routing options to their messaging services.

txtNation are responsible for terminating hundreds of millions of SMS messages and HLR lookups each month.

The new SMSC has been plugged in to their already well established direct mobile operator connections and to improve this growth further they have added a scalable infrastructure that is required to facilitate the high volume of messages.

One of the main reasons for adding the new SMSC was the demand to support SS7 and Sigtran connectivity.

These features have now been added with many other new features including an advanced low cost routing platform with flexible service based logic, home routing functionality, multiple improvements across filters and messaging rules, increased monitoring and reporting, pricing control and a focus on reducing network demands; meaning the removal of additional capacity on HLR.

txtNation claim they can now process a throughput in excess of 2000tps via their new SMSC and alongside this they can provide a newly revised fully global A-Z routing table for wholesale clients who demand stable, quality routing and pricing.

Access to the rapid availability of bulk SMS messaging rates from mobile operators globally, is all part of the new interconnection options now available from this set up.

All of this extra value meaning the business is in an enviable position to deliver on their promise on high quality global messaging.

Michael Whelan CEO, txtNation commented “Our new SMSC gives us improved throughput and pricing options for our clients internationally across SMS termination and HLR Lookup.

Clients can now take advantage of our new features and improved coverage with our wide range of API options.

By skipping messaging partners in the middle and brokering with the telco’s direct, provides our clients with higher throughput, improved service levels and better pricing options.”

txtNation’s proven track record in the industry as a leading aggregator, working in multiple markets and being renowned for SMS termination, has led to much interest from clients.

To coincide with this, a specialist business development team based in Manchester, England is currently being set up, focussing on wholesale SMS messaging with it’s aim to follow on from txtNation’s Enterprise success.

Paul Adams, txtNation head of Messaging commented, “Earlier this year we decided to make a significant financial investment into our infrastructure with a new SMSC, plugging in our already established forty plus direct mobile operator connections and adding further wholesale routes. To celebrate the launch of our new SMSC we are offering fixed rates for the next couple of months, for those signed up by the 6th October.

We are all looking forward to a very successful 2015, welcoming our new wholesale team and watching them play a major part in our future success.”
