The 11th ‘We Are the Future of Our Nation’ (WATFON) is set to hold on the 3rd of mentors from various walks of life.

The annual event organized by Edumark was created 11years ago to: Inspire Patriotism, Celebrate Role Models and Promote Unity.

This year, the theme is “Choose Nigeria”. Choose to love, think and reform Nigeria.

According to Mrs Yinka Ogunde, managing director of Edumark, the theme “Choose Nigeria” is meant to stir the love of country in our youth and to put her first in all we do”.

“When we begin to see Nigeria in this light, we begin to put structures and policies in place that will engineer development of all our sectors be it in Education, Health, Transportation etc.” she said.

She added that “an investment in the lives of young Nigerians is the only way for genuine national rebirth.”

Guests expected at this year’s event include: Pat Utomi, Wemimo Ogunde (SAN), Deola Azeez, Sir Newton Jibunoh, Foluso Philips, Leke Alder, Jimi Agbaje, Fela Durotoye, Leke Pitan etc.

Abubakar Mohmoud (SAN), President of the Nigerian Bar Association is to chair this year’s event.
