Weco Systems International, an Innovative and a leading Systems Integration company in Nigeria has partnered Microsoft Nigeria, to reiterate the need for companies to adopt Microsoft Cloud solutions through a workshop tagged: “Deliver Rapid Time to Value” recently held Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel. Victoria Island, Lagos.

The business workshop was deep dive sessions on three major Microsoft cloud solutions that businesses need to incorporate into their work process come 2016 for better work productivity and business outcome.

The Solutions include: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft O365 and Microsoft CRM Online.

Highlights of the workshop include the benefits of the three solutions to businesses. According to the team of experts that were present; Microsoft Azure delivers unmatched productivity. Any developer or IT professional can be productive with Azure.

Azure’s integrated tools, pre-built templates, and managed services make it easier to build and manage enterprise, mobile, web, and Internet of Things (IoT). It’s open and flexible; Azure supports the broadest selection of operating systems, programming languages, frameworks, tools, databases and devices. It works with existing IT; some cloud providers make you choose between your datacenter and the cloud. Not Azure, which easily integrates with your existing IT environment through the largest network of secure private connections.

Microsoft Azure is built to protect your data. It is fact that some organizations are still wary of the cloud. That’s why Microsoft has made an industry-leading commitment to the protection and privacy of your data. It’s economical and scalable; It’s ready for any business.

In the same vein, Office 365 lets you take advantage of sophisticated collaboration and messaging capabilities and eliminates the operational burden of on-premise server software, it provides business-class reliability, high availability, comprehensive security, simplified management and a familiar user interface.

Office 365 gives you the familiarity and power of Office with the flexibility of the cloud. With Office in the cloud, your applications and files are with you wherever you go, whether you’re working offline at your desktop, online, or on one of your devices. Office 365 services offer the powerfully-integrated capabilities of SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Lync Online, as well as Office Professional Plus and Office Web Apps.

According to Mrs. Remi Olowu who took the customers through the Microsoft CRM online; “Customer relationships are about more than customer satisfaction. They’re about really knowing your customer so you can personalize their experiences. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online helps you bring your customers closer”.

She highlighted some of the great benefits of CRM online; Companies can use customer data to enable more engaging interactions; Find and combine data from internal and external sources with familiar tools. Capture customer details and interactions and share this information across both sales and service teams; Focus on what matters. Get control of your business by prioritizing opportunities. Get work done faster by making collaboration easy, instantly view contacts’ online status to quickly set up or join meetings. Access your team for help on sales proposals and customer inquiries right away” Mr. Olowu Concluded.

While giving his closing remark, Mr. Sunday Okpala, Divisional head, Software and enterprise applications, Weco Systems International, reiterated Weco Systems unflinching commitment in adding value to its customers’ businesses. He therefore urged participants not to hesitate to contact Weco Systems to help in the implementation of the solutions they indicated interest in integrating into their work process.

By Chike Onwuegbuchi17 Aug 2026

There is a strange thing about regulation: everybody wants clarity until clarity comes with a bill. Given that is probably why the conversation around Nigeria’s proposed 1.5% stamp duty on virtual asset transactions has quickly become a debate about the number. Is 1.5% too much? Will it make crypto more expensive? Will users simply move elsewhere?
