Online classifieds ads firm, OLX Nigeria recently commissioned its new office in Ilupeju area of Lagos, which coincided with the platform’s fourth anniversary in the country.
The occasion attracted dignitaries from across Government and private sectors including Mrs. Olusola Senapon Oworu, Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry represented by Adeyinka Sonugbe, director of ICT in the Ministry, Fife Aiyesimoju, brand marketing manager, OLX Nigeria, in a brief chat with Nigeria CommunicationsWeek shared a rousing views as OLX staff.
Aiyesimoju said “Working with OLX has been Amazing. I truly wanted to work with a company that adds value in the lives of the people and I found that in OLX’s mission. We are happy helping sellers get buyers in a seamless manner. I am thrilled that when someone needs to meet financial obligations, he or she can actually sell used goods through OLX. I am happy that we have made OLX platforms available to the youths, as an alternative means of generating income.
“With the new office just expect more innovation. We want to understand Nigerians more by providing products or services we think they need. We recently launched ‘Do It For Me’ which has actually grown because Nigerians are getting the services they require. We will continue to treat the people are unique people they are”.
She also lauded the leadership prowess of Lola Masha, the country manager, saying “Working with Lola Masha, “I have learnt very key decision making processes by working with our country manager- Lola Masha. She is an amazing box. I have grown in leaps and bounds and can not exchange this experience for anything”.
OLX.com.ng had at the first quarter of this year launched its flagship, premium product “Do It For Me” (D.I.F.M) on Diamond Bank’s Tech Turks.
D.I.F.M helps users manage the posting and selling of items on the site. Users who have no time to post, meet with potential buyers or want their privacy protected can entrust the sale of their goods to the OLX Champs who are sales experts.
