Martha Alade, president Women in Technology in Nigeria (WITIN) will be speaking at the GSMA Mobile 360 – Connected Women Africa conference taking place today at the Clock Tower Conference Centre, Cape Town in South Africa.
The event is expected to bring in high level speakers from across the world, with the theme “Accelerating the Rise of the Female Digital Economy with a focus on women in developing markets”.
The conference will showcase industry leadership, facilitate further discussion and build networks for future development
Alade, would be speaking in the Connected Women panel discussion session titled “Addressing the Global Digital Skills Gap”.
Along with other panelists, she will be discussing a range of crucial issues, including the socio-economic benefits of increasing women in mobile, access and affordability issues, bridging development gaps, collaborating with adjacent industries, empowering women in the workforce and encouraging entrepreneurship, driving greater female leadership and addressing the global digital skills gap
