Zain Introduces New Package for High Value Customers

Mobile telecommunications operator, Zain Nigeria has introduced a special offer called Zain StepUp, targeted at aspiring and high value individuals.
The Offer which is specially designed to match the lifestyles and phone usage habit of high-spend users enables customers to make calls at a discounted rate regardless of the time of the day they call and the network they choose to call.
According to Mostafa Younes, Zain Nigeria’s marketing director; the new package has been introduced as part of the company’s desire to provide every high value customer more value for their money.
“This is the first rate plan in Nigeria telecom history that reduces the cost of making a call per second as you spend more time on the phone, regardless of the time of the day the call is made and the network that is called”, he said.
He further explained that Zain StepUp enables customers to make huge savings on cost, stressing that customers can get more than 20% discount on call cost if they talk for more than three minutes every day in one month and over 50% discount if they talk for just 10 minutes a day in a month.
He added that the package gives customers real value and amazing discounts when they talk more on their phones, “the more one speaks on phone, the better it gets”.
Younes also revealed that customers on the tariff plan will benefit from special services reserved for Very Important Persons (VIPs) and priority treatment both at the shops and the Call Centre.
According to him, the Zain StepUp package offers better prices to customers, rewards high usage, gives automatic discount and allows for easy access to the tariff plan. Additionally, customers on the tariff plan can pick any special number they so desire and are given an opportunity to send up to complimentary 100 SMS to friends, business associates and loved ones, informing them of their new special numbers.
New users of the Zain StepUp package will also enjoy complimentary Internet access for a period of 30 days. 
To enjoy the tariff plan, Zain customers are expected to recharge with a monthly access fee of N2, 000.00 and migrate to the service by dialling the short code, *200*1#. New customers who want to connect to the Zain StepUp package are required to purchase a new Zain SIM card, recharge their phone with a monthly access fee of N2,000.00 and then dial *200*1#.
To view accumulated minutes on the package, customers are required to dial *456# while users who opt to unsubscribe to the service are expected to dial *200*2#. Those who unsubscribe will be migrated back to Zain Joli and will enjoy a flat rate of 50k per second.
However, those who unsubscribe can always connect back to the service by dialling *200*1# after meeting the initial access fee requirement of N2, 000.00.
Customers on the Zain StepUp package will also have access to numerous value added services on the Zain network including One Network, International Roaming, Directory Service and the Zain’s Blackberry service amongst several others.
