The board of Zinox Technologies Limited has appointed Mr. Emomine Mukoro, managing director of Zinox Computers in a bid to strengthen the ability of the IT equipment manufacturers and Solutions Company to meet the challenges of a vibrant ICT sector.
The new management is expected to bring fresh interpretations to the vision of the founding fathers, expand human and technological capacities, and catalyze outstanding solutions for the growth for all clients.
As Head of the new management, Mukoro would lead a team of young, well motivated and experienced professionals to consolidate the position of Zinox as the foremost indigenous manufacturer of IT products and solutions.
Mukoro is expected to craft the company’s corporate strategy in conjunction with the Board and put processes and procedures in place to drive that strategy. He has the sole responsibility of ensuring that every resource available to the company is properly applied to meet the company’s set targets and goals.
A corporate strategist, Mukoro earned a distinction in Mathematics/Chemistry, and graduated with a second class upper in Mathematics, from the Delta State University in Abraka and has attended several courses at home and abroad, and worked with first rate ICT companies for several years before joining Zinox in 2009
Mukoro brings to Zinox an undiluted management style that can be equated to that of Jack Welch. Employed as Chief Operating Officer in 2009, Mukoro was responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Zinox's Africa-wide sales, marketing and services organization. In addition to driving sales and marketing programs, Mukoro also oversaw corporate operations and internal Information Technology that support the work of Zinox's employees across the branches.
The appointment Mr. Mukoro as Managing Director of Zinox would enable Leo Stan Ekeh, who has passionately and single mindedly stemmed the challenges of pioneering the greatest African computer brand, to concentrate in his core area of research and development. Mr. Ekeh would now squarely address the responsibilities of being the Group Managing Director of Africa’s most integrated ICT Group.
Zinox Computers was launched in 2001 as Nigeria’s First Internationally Certified Branded Computers. Presently rated by the International Data Corporation (IDC), USA as the No. 2 selling brand amongst international brands in Nigeria, Zinox, by virtue of its place of birth, history, ownership pedigree, investments, profitability, and a clear roadmap, is the largest IT Company in sub Saharan Africa and is determined to be the single largest integrated ICT Company in Africa by the year 2012.
