Zinox Computers, Nigeria’s first internationally certified branded computers has started drawing the benefits of its champion club membership, Intel Corporation the world’s number one manufacturer of micro processors and the world’s fourth best brand has said.

Ildeniz Aysegul, Intel Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) said that in a few weeks the market would begin to notice architecturally world-class systems running on the most recent rugged Intel processors.

She said that her visit is a reaffirmation of the privileges of status of the Champion Club membership being enjoyed by Zinox.

Aysegul, said that the result would be more affordable systems, durable technology that enhances productivity in commerce, industry, education and governance.

She said that the systems to come would also delight people in gaming and entertainment industries.

Responding to a comment made earlier by Leo Stan Ekeh, chairman, Zinox Technologies Limited, the Intel director said that Intel has noted the steady growth of the Zinox Group in terms of high brand equity which is as a result of established quality processes, people and technologies going by the ratings of international Agencies like the International Data Corporation (IDC).

She said that Intel was particularly impressed by the commitment of the Zinox team to IT penetration and promotion of knowledge democracy in Nigeria.

She revealed that Intel shared the belief that only an appropriately computerized educational sector can pave the way for national development.

Aysegul said that Zinox would become a world leader if given the chance by the people and Governments of Nigeria.

Zinox enjoy’s some incentives for emerging the Intel Global Award winner for Mobile computing in Africa, Middle East and Turkey.

The Nigeria IT pride was also admitted into the Intel prestigious Champions Club for building a successful global brand.

Intel research consultants are working with the Zinox team of Engineers to build new generation Zinox laptops which would beat competition.

It is one of the exclusive privileges enjoyed by Zinox based on her achievements in the mobile computing market.

The privileges qualify Zinox to enjoy an intimate technical collaboration in the design and building of systems that would yield extra value to the end users.

Zinox Computers is to exclusively draw from the rich Research & Development resources of Intel and produce systems that rank among the very best in the world.

Welcoming Ildeniz Aysegul earlier, Ekeh, explained the place of Zinox Technologies Limited in the Nigerian IT market. He took her on a facility tour of the new Zinox Corporate Headquarters of six floors built on 10,000sq meters, housing corporate headquarters and Africa’s most digitalized assembly plant yet to be commissioned.

The Zinox boss further explained that Zinox has won all known national and International IT Awards including the Best PC Brand for 2005, 2006, 2007; ICT Company of the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 to mention a few.

Ekeh said that Zinox was consistently working her way up to Africa’s Number 1 computer manufacturer

He assured her that Zinox has the all round capacity to deliver and she has deployed at major crisis time like in 2006, Zinox Computers salvaged the national voters’ registration exercise from imminent collapse by supplying 12, 000 highly integrated systems in two weeks.

The supplies were earlier awarded to a foreign company who could not deliver before it was awarded to Zinox. He said that achievement rewrote the history books in favor of the capacity of indigenous computer manufacturers and local enterprise.
