Centage Superstar, a music talent show that searches for the essence of Nigerian music in a single individual is set to take the country by storm.
A joint project of Centage Savings and Loans Limited and Kennis Music, both organizations have teamed up to discover the quintessential Nigerian artiste through series of nationwide auditions.
The perks for the eventual winner are a brand new Toyota Prado Jeep worth N7m, N2m cash and N10m deal with Kennis Music.
“What can we say? Our interest is making the Nigerian music industry boom. So when the responsibility is vested in us to see to it that we groom and nurture new acts, it actually means that we are recognized in and outside the industry as a pathfinder and credible actor in the Nigerian music scene,” said Kenny Ogungbe, founder of Kennis Music.
The basic objective of the Centage superstar is to discover and promote young Nigerian music superstars. The organizers informed that every winner that emerges from each region gets N1million, and an opportunity to represent his/her region in the grand finale in March 2010.
